I just ordered a cool slingshot. The Ocularis Axiom in 6061 aluminum. Also ordered a few high power bands for it.

Are the "high powered" bands red by any chance?
While there are a lot of variables starting with the country I grew up in all the way to the low likelihood you'd be buying similar gear, but I always found the "high powered" red bands less accurate and they broke quicker and easier.

A tip from a misspent youth

My grandad had a lead sinker mould so I used to have a steady supply of ammo as a young lad.
Birds still won't fly too close to me, the legacy lives on...
