Small Hyda Help

I have a small Hydra. When I plug in the external fan the unit shuts off. I swapped the ribbon cords and nothing. I've tried plugging into the other slot for fan on all the time. The unit just cuts off. Any ideas?

They have a one year warranty I believe. Contact the manufactuer. I did. Dave helped alot!
