  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Why is it so hard to draw on a Toscano. It seems that you draw on a Toscano very hard and hardly and smoke comes out. It seems that the cigar wasn't wrapped too tight. Am I doing something wrong?

I just received them from the cigar company. Broke one out and almost got a hernia trying to draw smoke.

MOST companies ship cigars with too much RH so they won't dry out during transit. You should put the in a humidor around 65% RH and let them air out for a month or more. Yours are probably too moist.

try to avoid dry cured cigars. Once you get a "traditional" stick, you'll understand the difference.
