  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Wow! That looks great! Watch to go!
What kind of adhesive did you use because of the plastic? Are going to put a finish on it like a shellac? And most importantly, what do you plan to use it for?
Really cool project!

I used mod pudge. It's a adhesive and a sealer. They also have a spray on sealer that I used to. I use it while smoking outside for my ash tray, iPad or computer.

Yep, I also used mod podge for mine. Stuff is awesome. I used a bout 7 coats of poly urethane on mine. I can put a sweating glass on it, and any water just sits on top with no damage. I'd highly consider that if you're gonna place drinks on it.

1) looks awesome, great work

2) kind of hate you because you just showed how simple the project I have been procrastinating on really is...

That looks awesome. I have a buddy who has been saving bands for as long as I've known him. His goal is to make his own dining room table and cover it completely with bands. Something in the neighborhood of six or eight feet.
He's actually such a fiend for bands, that he walks around the parking lot of CI in PA and picks up bands people have left behind on their cigar remnants.
