I know it's pretty much sold out everywhere and extremely hard to find, but does anyone know what the suggested retail price was?

A friend claims he knows a place in the US selling them for USD 199.

Cigarmony had it for 124.99. Good read (492 pages) and beautiful pictures.

One has recently gone on fleabay uk for £400 (GBP)

I think there were a few dodgy bids in there to bump up the price

I think I paid around $80 but mine :dunno: Not sure I'd pay over $150-$200 for it.
PM one of the folks on the board or this thread if you ever want to part with this book... I know there are a few people searching high and low and are willing to take it off of your hands at a nice profit... just saying. They'll really appreciate it too.

It would be awesome if they do reissue the book. I looked everywhere hoping to find a couple of copies, placing orders with companies I never heard of only to get the inevitable email that it is no longer in stock etc, etc. Now I look at online prices and my jaw drops! I'll just have to wait and hope. I doubt this is something I can find in the reference section at my local library.

Anyone heard from Nino lately? I emailed him about two weeks ago and no response... Usually he gets back within a day or two.

Anyone have an update on this? There hasn't been anything on Flying Cigar for a long time and we're almost to the middle of 2012. I'm guessing we have a long time. I wish I'd bought one when I had a chance but I will snatch this one up the first chance I get.

I am patiently awaiting the next edition. Hoping the Partagas book that is coming out this summer will tide me over. :-D

These are outdated badly now, about 10 year old information. CVM is right, I believe someone at CW had a group buy and went for $85 delivered. Retail then was about $125.

I suggest posting ISO and offer a trade of smokes for the book. I let mine go few years ago and got the crap bombed outta me.

I'm with Steve. It's a great source for discontinued cigars and the ultimate cigar table book, but it's not useful for anything more than that. It's a great adventure hunting one down but once you get it....meh...you read it for a month or two and the less and less over time.
