  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

So what are your favorite movies/genres AND why

In no real order:

  • Art documentaries (Exit Through the Gift Shop, Helvetica, Between the Folds, Jiro Dreams of Sushi...)
  • Dark comedies (Tie Me Up Tie Me Down, Fargo, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas...)
  • Action
  • Spy thrillers
  • Art and Indy films

Edit: And why?

Art based movies speak to my creative side and often challenge me. Dark comedies because I laugh at shit that many don't find funny. It's how I deal with stuff

I like off beats like Fargo and snatch. Snatch had a great soundtrack that was incorporated into the movie very well AND sound effects that people probably didn't realize they were hearing that half way made the scene
