SoCal Herf in April?

Mark and I are staying in Laguna tonight. We will take care of it. So, come early, and bring black coffee and glazed donuts. And regardless of what time it is, it's cinco de mayo somewhere!!

Is it typically more afternoon / evening? Or is it truly just all day? I'm coming up from San Diego and have to make sure to plan accordingly.
