So I was thinking about this recently in light of the barrage of limiteds, limited core lines, rare, and htfs, and new core lines popping up.
I wanted to get a list of folks go to core lines or regular production extension of a core line that have been around for a little while, lets say at least 2 years. Nothing hard to find thats a core line such as No. 9 and T52, something you can find everyday almost anywhere. And lets leave out CCs out since you really can't stroll in to your BnM and expect to walk out with a cc purchase, but yes they are regular production core lines.

So I'll start it off
La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor
Crowned Heads Four Kicks
Surrogates Tramp Stamp
Tatuaje Havana VI

Crowned Heads Four Kicks
DPG Blue Generosos
My Father Cedros Deluxe Eminentes
Quesada Espana (used to be HTF but not anymore it seems)
Tatuaje Brown Label Noellas
RoMa Craft Intemperance

There are more, but those are the ones that stick out at the moment to me. Some of my favorite regular releases are pretty new (Matilde, Caldwell LLTK, Warped everything). Pretty much all of my regular core-line, regular-release favorites are CCs.

Call me boring, but for a long time I really enjoyed a lot of General Cigar / Altadis brands like NC Punch, Hoyo, and Partagas. I've broadened my horizons quite a bit since I first started, but they were always good solid reliable smokes for me. And the old NC H Upmann was fantastic...

Outside of that:

Oliva G and O
Padilla 1932 (others are great too, but the 1932 seems to be more common / less expensive)
Undercrown
My Father
Diesel Unholy Cocktail (the first in the Diesel line, still arguably the best)
and ditto to the DPG Blue, Tat Havana VI, and CH Four Kicks - all solid choices.

oliva v melanio
padron

both are defaults when out and about and have to go to tiny smoke shops due to no BM around. They typically have one of these.
