Over the years I've found that some cigars from the same humidor seem much drier than others. Both in the way they smoke and in the feel. I've never bothered to pay attention as to which ones seem drier. I don't think it has anything to do with their position in the humidor. It almost seems like it has to do with different types of wrappers. I keep my RH at around 68%. I know many of you will think that is too high but I like it there.
Has anyone ever perceived a variation in your cigars?

Totally understand the feeling, you’re not alone. Different types of tobacco react differently to moisture (Mexican San Andreas, Connecticut broadleaf, Connecticut, etc) and different growing areas affect as well. I’m sure there are more scientific reasons as well
