I am contemplating a storage locker at my local B&M for a number of reasons.

1) You can stock it with your own cigars. (this is critical because it's a nice place in a high-end neighborhood and their markup reflects that) The money I will save on smokes alone will pay the $300 a year fee. Btw, the humidity levels are kept at or around 70%. The cigars I have smoked from this establishment have been in very good condition.

2) It's a really comfortable place with great guys who hang out there. Mags, big seats, big screen, etc.

3) You can store alcohol there, too.

4) I don't smoke at home much, especially in the winter with a century home and a detached garage.

5) I'm still in grad school and buying from B&M is killing me. This would easily pay for itself.

6) I won't start making REAL money (whatever that means) after two years of supervised clinical instruction AFTER school. In other words, my Tat obsession is going to have to go on the back burner aside from a box of Tat Reserva Petite Cardoza's. :togetherl

The Elie Bleu will have to wait. :innocent:

If you've done the math and the annual fee of $300 will pay for itself when you factor in the cost savings of bringing your own stock then I say go for it.

Go to a casino and wait for a,a k,k q,q then go all in. If u get a caller or two, that one hand will probably pay for your quest.

Those are the Pros... What are the Cons?

Good question, Cowboy!

The lockers are backed up to a different humi, not the retail one. I asked about the % of humidity and her response was "oh, around 70%, give or take."

I know in the summer it's not a problem, I worry about the winter and if, say, 68-72% is OK for storing smokes.

For instance, I think a good value and my first purchase will be a box of Tat Petit Cazadore Reservas. I mean, I want those to be well taken care of. 50 sticks at an hour a piece for that price and quality is a deal, but I want to make sure they stay that way and smoke well, ya know?
