Spilled Propylene Glycol

A buddy of mine spilled 4-6oz. worth of Propylene Glycol in a 250 stick humidor a few years ago that wad 2/3 full of cigars. Needless to say he was pissed and quit smoking for a few years until the last 6 months or so. The sticks were thrown out and the humi left open to air out for a while.

Now he and I both want to know if its safe to use again?

Also if it is reused, it will be with HF beads. No more glycol!

gonna take a while to re-season it.

Now, before you start - get some 600 grit sand paper and do a "fluff'n'buff" on the spanish cedar.

it'll help open up the wood to both aerate and absorb moisture.

Then off you go, kicking him back down the slope again!
