I did search on this topic, but didn’t get the answers I was after...

With cigars that are produced and “boxed” in ceramic and glass jars, what is the best practice for Long Term storage?
Should I worry about humidity with in the Jar (I.e. remove the lid in my humi)?
Do those jars stay stable enough to leave on a shelf, outside of a humidor?

Any thoughts are appreciate!

I think the general consensus is that the jars aren’t stable enough on their own to be used as storage. I bought my first jar about a month ago, and when it arrived I put all the sticks in one of my tuppers for storage. The jar is a decoration now

I think cedar is a cigar's friend. If the jar is lined and you are able to watch the humidity in the jar no harm done. If it's just acrylic or stoneware like Multi-useless said, put them in your humidor.
