I'm looking for a good desktop humidor/hygrometer/humidifier setup. I don't need anything too big or fancy, but just a solid setup that is a good value. Any advice is appreciated.

how much are you looking to spend on the desktop alone? and what sort of capacity are you looking for?

you'll also have to buy a digital hygrometer and a humidifier. get some 65% beads from david (viper139).

I was thinking capacity of anywhere between 50-100 would be fine. I'm probably looking for something in the mid-range as far as pricing.

Also, what are some good digital hygrometers and humidifiers that are recommended?

chris -- bigger is better. and if you are planning on using this as your primary storage, you will outgrow it rather quickly

as far as digital hygrometers go, look into the following:

western digital caliber II (maybe there is a III out now)
radio shack one
oregon scientific
eXtech pen (very very accurate, but they cost at least $100)

I got the Caliber III.

It's really slim and compact.

It attaches with a magnet instead of velcro, which is cool too.

I have always had good luck with the accuracy of Oregon Scientific hygros. As far as a humidification source............let me think.............hey, how about some Heartfelt 65% Beads.
