Hi Ron,

I have a small 28 bottle wine cooler that's fitted with 1 shelf and 1 drawer. The current humidification solution is working OK, but I have no control over the %RH.
I'm looking for an Accumonitor to solve this issue, but due to limited space, I'd need to make sure that the setup is compact.

  1. Do you have water canisters that are shorter than what's displayed on the Avallo site (http://www.avallohumidors.com/Accumonitor.html)
    1. If so, what's the price difference?
  2. Would you recommend the shorter or taller canisters?
  3. Would you recommend 1 or 2 canisters for the given space?
  4. Can a water return pipe be plumbed back into the canister/s (from the condensation of the rear wall)?

Thanks :)

Ron, I hope everything is OK with you, mate. I haven't heard from you.

That is a great question. I was wondering the same thing. I would like to build a wineador that is totally automatic even to the point that it alarms when the temp/RH is off spec.

I put an Accumonitor in the freezer project listed in my signature. I found the unit was too big for the freezer, it leaked too much humidity for the exceptionally tight freezer, same would be true with a wineador. Beads are the way to go.
