Its Monday, so you know what that means, right? Right?! Another episode of Drew Estate Pairings! In Episode 19, we paired the super hard-to-find Surly Darkness Russian Imperial Stout with our MUWAT Kentucky Fire Cured Just A Friend cigar. The results were delicious! The smoky flavors of the Kentucky Fire Cured matched up perfectly with the dark chocolate and roasted malt notes in the Surly Darkness.
If you can find a bottle of Surly Darkness, we highly recommend this pairing. Otherwise, sub in any other Russian Imperial Stout (Stone Brewing makes a great one) and youll probably get similar results. Thanks, and make sure to give us suggestions for upcoming videos.
