I have been smoking cigars on and off (mostly off) since 1987 when a spanish friend of mine brought some cubans back from Spain and we found that my jerk room-mate hated cigars.

Not knowing anything about cigars, I went out and bought a big huge box of Swishers (no humidor) and every time we wanted to get rid of him, we just fired them up.

A few years later I discovered Macanudos. I am trying to find a picture of them, but I can't. They are small and sold in a tin case 10 ea. Since i don't know a lot about cigars, and I know these are at least good quality (if not very good) I have stuck with them for quite a number of years.

The other day I tried a CAO Brazilia and to my untrained palate, it was very nice.

Anyway, that's my story. Here I am.

PS: Smoking laws suck

Welcome! The CAO Brazilia sure is a good cigar. Macanudos are consistently solid sticks, but they became too mild for me a little while back.

Hope you have fun in these forums!

Welcome aboard.

Just curious - did you consider your roommate a jerk because he hated cigars or were there other reasons?
