  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Contact Pete/Tatuaje - I know he's real keen on quality & particularly the reputation he & his company have. I'd take a couple of pictures to pm him.

The first two qustions will be where did you get them? & Was the seal broken?

I didn't have any problems with my first box... But I haven't opened my second - perhaps I should crack em open & take a peak..

mine had a slight bow in two of the outer cigars where they were tied, but after untieng and letting them rest, they straightened back out naturally. I did feel they were bound a little tight, but no damage.

an email would be fine! he posts her under the name, "tatuaje"

my box was fine. i did notice they were a bit 'spongy.' i put a dent in mine just by holding it. also, dented a little under the band. it smoked fantastically! not a touch-up to be had!!

I noticed that also. I will have to unbundle them tonight to see if there is any damage.

felt the same way about mine. i undid them immediately and put them in the humi and they seem to have regained their normal form.
think i'm going to have to bury most of them at the bottom so i won't be tempted. they're just too darn good!

I've had CC's where the yellow tie has dented the cigars, but they smoked perfectly. Are the wrappers cracked? If not, just untie them and let them sit.

Guys...the box he got was from me. I'm majorly bummed that I sent out a box that had damaged cigars in it. I didn't know obviously, but still feel responsible. I did open the seal and checked the bundle, but did not open the foil. I feel really bad that someone else got MY damaged box.

Working on getting it corrected now and contacted the B&M that I got them from.

my box had one stick with a little "belt mark" (you know, when you wear pants that are to tight around the waist and at the end of the day it leaves a mark) but that was the stick I smoked first and it was Frank-Tastic!

I do notice once I took them out of the black tie and body bag the lid didn't slide back in like it did inside the bag and caught on the foot of a few sticks. But I got the box for show and the sticks to smoke so no biggie here.
