Honestly I have lived on the border all of my life and I have never eaten Mexican food in Mexico.
I have eaten spaghetti, pork chops, tuna fish sandwiches, ham, pancakes, sweet and sour pork and many other delicacies in Mexico, but never "Mexican" food.
I can't get through the week without tapatios, barbacoa or guiso.
