I don't accept that this is "a statement of our society". It's to be expected to find houses decorated in this manner the week before Halloween. Any other time of year and it would have been investigated immediately.

Maybe the woman planned it this way ...

I can say I would have thought it was decoration too. As real as "fake" bodies are these days, it would be hard to tell from a distance. Very sad though...

How crazy is that...man it'd be weird to live across the street from that.

This is somewhat related...Last week someone hung a mannequin from an overpass on I-95 and it snarled traffic for most of the day while the authorities tried to get it down. It was causing accidents and the police were getting flooded with calls because people thought it was a real person.
