  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I don't know why...even if Manufacturers rerelease cigars, they rarely taste as good as the OR...For example, every incarnation of the Tat Black after the OR CG has not even been close to as good...

YMMV...

It is so hard to reproduce a crop from one year to the next. I do not expect a cigar produced one year to taste just like another produced a different year, but I do like them to be very similar. It is a good reason to stock up when you find one you really like. This is where the limited release thing really messes me up. If I loved the Barclay Rex, and I want to stock up, chances are its already too late. So I have to order multiple boxes before the release and hope I love em, or risk not having more than a few sticks. This causes more demand at release. I am having a hard time chasing all these releases.
I hope S&S changes the paradigm for the better.

I would agree with you, but recently I've smoked a few black robustos out of the old promo 3 packs. With a few years of age on them they are unbelievably good right now. Best blacks I have ever smoked.

I love the original Tat Blacks, just can't see paying a king's ransom for 'em.

Pete...I pray you bring some normalcy back to the hobby with your S&S initiative.
