I smoked a porkchop this afternoon after having picked up a couple last week. It was truly a great smoke. Will have to go back and get some once he gets more in. BTW, Jose is a very cool guy and his shop is great. I definitely recommend checking it out when in Boston.
G Street is the shit! I always drop in when I am visiting my sister out there (she goes to BU). Awesome guys! I just hope they have one or two when I head out there this summer!

I agree however I'm pretty sure most of his photos are post-processed since most of them are applied too strongly with a DoF software filter and sometimes in the wrong areas that make it look unnatural. Don't get me wrong, I love viewing Brook's photos as much as everyone else.
I've got no idea what any of that means, but if I was able to do what he does...yeah, I could make some cash!

I've used more of Brooks photos as my desktop backgrounds than he probably has!
No, I have to keep my backgrounds on my desktop gray, since we do photo editing on it...

Are the photos I post big enough for that? I can send you a bigger copy if you need...

Brooks, I tried to use your casa fuente #2 review pic as a desktop pic... but failed miserably. I need 1440x900... any chance of you making that happen on your spare time??

Hmmm - so they're the same size as the Bombazos.
Verrryyyy interesting...

Did the Bombazos have a shag foot too?

Btw Brooks, I agree - your pictures are incredible. Kudos!

~brooks
had my brother that knows fotoshop help me out. I used the main picture that has the shot of the stick standing on the left, with many other pics on the right side.

Thanks for giving us amazing pictures to drool over!

I spoke with Jose (Gloucester Street Cigar Company) this morning, great guy to talk with by the way.

I have a box of "Pork Chops" on the way, he is expecting another 30 boxes Thursday or Friday.

It has overwelmed/amazed him with the interest this cigar has developed/generated. When I placed the order he even asked me "how many boxes you want", so he is not limiting how many you can buy.

I will definately do business with him in the future!

oh, by the way, he said he was really honored when Pete gave him credit for "helping out" with the Tat Franks!

If this wasn't already mentioned, I believe he said the "Pork Chop" has the same wrapper as the Tat Reserva J21.

The size is more like 4 1/8 x 46 because of the covered foot. They are not the same blend as the Bombazo. The Bombazo did not have the covered foot and the wrapper on the Porkchop is just one priming up...More like the same wrapper as the J21 but a lighter shade.....

Ha, I did not even think of the covered foot being having an effect on the size of the stick...

I knew it was not the same blend as the Bombazo (as I said, not as strong!), but there have been various reports that it is the same wrapper as the J21...from what you are saying above is that not correct?

Thanks!
