Tat Tubos: Black or Red?

Going to buy a box...im just torn as to what one to buy...ive read countless reviews on both.

So i ask you all who have had them:

Black, or Red?

Well,
I can give you 2 cents. I bought a box of Tat blacks last December and at first they were a little flat. I also purchased a few reds and they were better off of the truck. However as the Blacks start to settle, I think they are better than the reds.

A few months ago my answer would've been Red......But it seems to me the Blacks are def coming around. The last few I smoked were just amazing.

So I vote for Blacks!

Blacks I've smoked were just not good whatsoever. Wished I didn't go all in on a box. Nothing remotely close to the cg, or even robusto black IMO. I'd vote for a box of Verocru #9 over both.....as I didn't find the red tubos to be that great either. Good, but not great (like the east/west are).... that's just my .02.

I personaly didn't find either to be that exciting. I do have a few I'm letting rest for a year but as of now I would say if it's a tat you want save it for the La verite or a decent Padron.

Personally, I say neither; try one of each to see if you like them first. I've had 3 of each and they just don't do it for me. The Verocu No. 9 on the other hand is great!

It's a 50/50 call for me. I have had great and bad experiences with both of them.
