The Tauaje La Verite started off with a quick burst of spice and quickly mellowed after a few puffs. Through the first third there was a raisen type sweetness, with a mild wood taste. As I got into the second third the sweetness disapeared and a woodsy flavor took over with some burnt nut. The wood and nut flavors carried into the final third and progressed into more of an almond flavor as the cigar came to its end. During the last third there were also hints of lead which wasn't the most pleasent flavor, but I feel this will work its way out with some time.

Total Score 91
Overall I really enjoyed the cigar. I am not sure how much different this will be from the offical release, but I will definitley be looking to get more of these. I was very surprised at how well the construction was on this, ABSOLUTLEY FLAWLESS! The draw was great and the burn was razor sharp throughout the whole stick, the ash was solid and held for over an inch. Overall this was a medium stick that had a few subtle changes. The price on these is $13 for the Robusto and $25 for the Churchill, personally I will try to get a hold of both and have no problem with the price. Total smoke time was just over an hour.
