If you want a drop-dead killer Tat, buy a box of Cojonu 2003. It's one of the best nc's you will ever smoke. They are not cheap (rarely discounted).

I'm amazed that brothers chase the new stuff when the best is already here. Just my opinion..

Cojonu 2003 are made each year. My understanding is the 2003 represents the blend. The current 2003 have an Ecuadoran wrapper. Find the original 2003 with the Nicuraguan wrapper and you'll have something special

Cojonu are all the same filler with different wrappers and sizes to display the blend different ways. Great sticks with subtle changes between them

And in my opinion, the Barclay Rex and the TAA 2011 beat any Cojuno hands down.

I think for a lot of folks, the limited release represents a process that is exciting....The subtle, vague rumors of the release and it's blend, the announcement of what retailer will host the release, the pre-release reviews, the frantic pre-order process, the wait for the sticks to clear customs, the arrival of the sticks to the retailer and subsequent shipping, waiting for your box to arrive while the reviews start trickling in to the boards....

This all builds anticipation and excitement, and kinda brings the kid out in all of us!

I've read some places that the limited lines seem to be peaking. That there are too many small batch and short runs cigars, and a return to the prominance of more regular production cigars was likely in the next few years. I think it was halfwheel that said it to boot. They're definitely the kings of limiteds and short runs.

FYI, I just called to see if they received them yet and they said they're not even in the country yet.
