  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

To say that this would be my favorite new release from IPCPR this year would be a bit of an understatement. This cigar is easily one of my favorite releases of any time, any place, anywhere, ever. I don't smoke a lot of maduros. I am not typically a huge fan of most of them, as they don't tend to have a unique flavor profile compared to any other maduro of similar quality. There are a select few that I love, and for me the 7th Reserva just about sums up everything I love about a good maduro, in my favorite vitola (Corona Gorda) just all wrapped up in a perfectly built, perfectly performing hour and a half long smoke. Did a full review, (it's a bit long) with photos, for the blog. Check it out, and let me know what you think. I would love to hear some opinions from others who have smoked these babies.

Yup, these and the Petit Cazi Reserva's I think are my favorite from this year. Can't go wrong with these what so ever, they perform perfectly and have tons of flavor. Time will only tell for these sticks. Very Regio Reserva'ish for me, which is a good thing!

Nice reviews but I thought the Review sections were meant for on-site reviews. How come you dont post up more of your review here?

Yeah. Had a Petite Cazadores Reserva last night. Can't believe how long it smoked. I got over an hour out of it, at a normal pace. Pretty incredible. Great flavor too. Similar to the 7th Reserva actually, for me at least. Good stuff.

Picked up a 5ver of the 7th and petit caz reservas - smoked one of both - I was surprised to the down side - I"m a huge fan of the Regios Reservas and was expecting something down a similar road - flavor profile was one dimensional and spice was unpleasant as compared to the regios, mouth taste was on the sour side - missed that smooth chocolate, cocao of the regios - have a few more and will try later - the '09 regios have mellowed but increased in creaminess, awesome - very full almost chewy like mouth feel of dark chocolate - really great -

I am smoking the 7th Reserva as I type this. What a great smoke! I picked up a box for free when I bought a 3 pack of the Black labels at an event Pete had here a couple of weeks ago.... I will say while I do love this one the Noella Reserva still tops the leaderboard with this line and most sticks overall. I do like the LDC Mi Amor that was released at the show this year as well. Of course it seems like if Pepin and/or Pete is involved I will love whatever it is. Great review and I recommend if you haven't tried one that you do soon.
