Enjoyed another unseaonably warm day this weekend doing more yardwork and enjoying a few cigars. First up is a cigar that I always seem to have a few of in the humidor. Haven't had this particular vitola so I thought I'd give it a try.
The draw was a little on the tight side and after a few puffs I had to cut it back more which helped, but was still tight. Like sucking a thick shake though a straw. Thankfully around the half way point things just opened up and was great the rest of the way on out. Flavors were perfect for the start of the day...some nuttiness, a little delayed pepper on the back of the tongue, a woodiness with some slight cookie flavor as well. Burn was superb and the ash dropped in 1-2 inch clumps.
