Tatuaje Zona del Este Cigar Review

[Cigar Cowboy]

Tatuaje Zona del Este is dark, firm and smooth in construction. Slightly oily with a woody scent. The burn was even and perfect all the way through.

1/3 Toast, Nuts, Raisin, Cedar

2/3 Earth, Wood, Leather, Roasted Nuts

3/3 Saffron, more Cedar, Toast and Wood and Roast Nuts.

This cigar was well aged. It is now very smooth, but still full bodied. Notice I did not point to spicy as a tasting note.

Overall impression = Delicious!!! This is a great smoke. Pick one up if you can.

This cigar...along w/ the West (which I personally prefer), make up my top 5 Tats ever I'd have to say...along w/ the Reserva line (SW Maddie, Regios, and Noella).

All, for me anyway, have a perfect balance of flavor and strength.

Some of the more recent stuff (Tenderloin, BRex etc.) was a little too much strength, not enough finesse IMO....That may obviously change w/ time, and I know others feel those are their favorite Tats, but w/ these OR Verocru (and OR Reservas), they're golden.

Great review, Cowboy! I totally agree with your tasting notes. These have lost most of their spice, but are still delicious! One of my favorite cigars ever.

The new batch will be uber-spicy at first, then loose it's spice over time. I can't wait to watch how they evolve, as I didn't get in on the OG until they were about a year old already.

Great review, Cowboy! I totally agree with your tasting notes. These have lost most of their spice, but are still delicious! One of my favorite cigars ever.

Yeah I think I remember them being really spicy when they 1st came out.

They now have such a unique flavor. Really excellent.
