  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I have a question on terminology. Lay people use the word "Stogie" and Cigar interchangeably. However, in the blogs and forums that I have started reading lately, nobody refers to them as stogies. Is this taboo and are they truly interchangeable?

The term stogie refers to a cheap cigar (ie subpar caliber), maybe that's why. (See also stogy)

I have called them all kinds of things. I don't think it matters what you call them. Atleast not to me. I have even heard people call cigarettes stogie's. LOL
