I was unable to find a thread on this Golden Cigar, might just be buried.
This seems redonkulous, and wanted to share the laughter...http://www.thegoldencigar.com/goldencigar.html

maybe for a special occasion :eyebrow:(bad joke)

here's halfwheel's story from last year: http://www.halfwheel.com/news-daniel-marshall-set-release-cigar-gold/

Also the guys at topqualitycigars.com seem to think the new Tatuaje regios and noella reserva wrappers are peppered with gold

as stated here: http://www.topqualitycigars.com/

and here: http://www.topqualitycigars.com/TATUAJE_RESERVA.html

While I did see the gold specs on my noella which I smoked in the bright sun, I assumed they had fallen off the gold label reserva band.

Does anyone know if the claims from topqualitycigars.com are true, or might they be mistaken?

I'm still considering pulling the trigger on a fiver of the golden cigars: he throws in the $250 humidor for free :crosseyed

IIRC the flecks in some of the garcia's broadleaf comes from mineral content in the soil. sometimes see it in a 7th reserva, looks VERY pronounced in the TAAs and cojonu12res.

Too f-ing funny, guys.
Here's my lame one: King tut's chambermaids couldn't hide their secrets.

This was just posted in another thread found here: http://www.botl.org/community/forums/showthread.php/65983-Tatuaje-Regios-Reserva-2013/page4?p=1210541#post1210541

I knew mineral content in the soil affects flavor and ash color and didn't understand how it transferred to the leaf in such solid chunks (lol), but as Pete J. says just by walking through the field it gets transferred to your clothes Things are becoming much clearer to this newb. Still not sure this is GOLD dust as stated on Topqualitycigars.com (but still very cool)
