That was one of the shockers when I moved from PA at the age of 25 to take a teaching position in VA.

I could count on 2 hands the amount of days of school I missed as a child growing up in PA. Each year in VA, that number is surpassed.

I went to the store this evening for important shit like hot fudge sauce and tortilla chips. The bread and milk areas had been picked CLEAN.
