  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Hey guys I brought back a couple bundles of Jonathan's new JdN My Uzi Weighs a Ton from Nica. He wants our opinion of them so I thought it would make for a fine evening of smoking with good friends. With that in mind we will be doing this on Friday afternoon/evening. Let me know in advance and come on out to Burning Leaf in Plainfield and I will give you one to try. All you need to do then is give us feedback on the cigar and smoking experience. Hopefully we can get a bunch of brothers out for a good smoke.:cbig:

Guys. Please remember that this is a monster size stick, 6x60 and 7x60. The interesting thing is that the cigar was blended by me at Joya de Nicaragua, not at Drew Estate. The other interesting thing is that we did something extremely unusual for any JDN product, in that we used a lot of Brazillian Mata Fina as filler and used a Mexican San Andreas Capa. Of course, there is still plenty full bodied Nica filler to compliment the Brazillian Mata Fina.

Curious to see what you guys think, the good, the bad and the ugly....

Sounds interesting. I've been all about the gigantic Quad Maduro's from B&A lately, so this sounds interesting.

Is the Mata Fina filler from J Fuego, ala the T52 binder?

Sounds interesting but the 60rg is too big for my smoking preference. I realize that this large rg might be needed to make the blend work, but really do not enjoy the monster rg gars.
