  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Thank you for the post. Nothing is more moving, or can overcome sadness than the flag draped coffin. It is an emotional experience, overcome by pride. I have lost both of my grandfathers, served in World War 2, and my father, served in Vietnam. With tradition, it is amazing that even down to the last man, nobody ever forgets a fallen veteran.

Thanks for the post Ciggy. When I was on I&I Staff (Inspector/Instructor) that was one of the duties assigned us to preform those ceremonies.

"Nobody ever forgets a fallen veteran". Very well said, WkndSmoker. :usaflag:

in my brief time as a boy scout, we learned how to properly fold a flag. i remember taking great pride in doing it correctly. i wonder if it is still taught?
