Just out of curiosity, what would you be putting this in? I have one and tried to use it in my cabinet, ha what a joke, I guess for a big desktop it would be ok, or maybe a cooler.

8' isn't much.. a 2'x2' box. I'd most definitely go with Boveda over that, and save the $$ and room.

18 CT wineador, instead of the computer fan and Tupperware of KL at the base. I really haven't had issues with it, was just thinking if this were equally efficient

Yeah, that should work in there depending on where you are placing it of course.
