  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

So, after a mediocre night at work I come home, pour myself a glass of wine, then proceed to my humi. There on top I see a stick with a boring red band. "Should...should I do it?", I ask myself. Its 3 other red siblings and 4 brown siblings tell me that I should. I pull it from the box, smell it, caress it....my girlfriend would be jealous. With puppy dog eyes, I read the band...."Tatuaje". My first one.

*snip*...first prelight draw was overly firm so I cut again. Still, its not a perfect draw, but I decide its good enough....I have no desire for unraveling tonight.

I said a few days ago that if I smoked that night I might "go to the dark side and light up a Tat" and [I believe it was] HDroadglide that said, "thats not the dark side, thats stepping into the light!" BOY HOWDY was he right! What a great smoke! Right now I'm approaching the the end of the first 1/3, and already excited for what the rest brings. I will say the wine (port, to be more exact) is NOT the proper pairing, but whatever.

Its about 77 degrees, very little breeze (which is great), clear sky and a full moon. Life is good.

I too love the red labels, more than the browns that I've had thus far. My faves so far are the Angeles and Victorias, but I have yet to try the torpedo or the Verocu sticks...which sound awesome!

I like the Havana IV cigars, but if that's your FIRST and you loved it....well, you're gonna be totally screwed when you have a brown label! LOL
