Yes - I have an i3 (8gb) - and my part of the building has slow access - I have to walk down the hall and sit in the hall at the other end of the building or I grow a beard waiting for a page to load (assuming it doesn't time out!).

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Depends where you work. We have strict computer security at my job, and though it's sometimes necessary to find work-arounds for legitimate reasons, I think I'd get in a lot of trouble for using a proxy to access a banned site for personal reasons. Make sure you evaluate the risks before you try to do like this.

as an fyi - at my company we track/log those who use these methods to circumvent the policies. Legal department choses what to do with the information. not my call. if i had it my way i'd turn off the filter.
