Tired of being out of shape

I've started a quick, one month "mini-cut" this week, to try and drop a couple of pounds for the summer. Pizza, beer, and burgers eventually catch up to you. I've signed up for a couple of Mud Runs (a 6 km and an 18 km race) this summer, so I need to make sure I'm in shape. I did my first one last year, and surprisingly had a lot of fun.

Tracking my food intake with MyFitnessPal and so far, so good. I should probably start incorporating some cardio...:vomit:

Eat cleaner, work out, watch your macros and all will be better

I lost 35lbs 7 years ago and haven't gained it back yet. Gym at least 4 days a week, mma (true, non rules) 1-2 days a week for 2hrs. I'm not super lean but when I was I lingered at 179 now I sit ata comfortable 190
