The wrapper that comes on most cigars, do you leave it on when you put the cigars in your humidor or do you take it off? If you take it off will the flavors blend or just keep the cigars semi-separate from eachother?

Just like a rubber...it provides some protection when needed...such as your prying fingers looking for the right one. Won't hurt a thing.

Exactly. You're talking about cello? This argument is age-old. I personally don't care for it, but either way won't really harm you. Like it was said earlier, it does provide protection. I like my cigar porn naked, pun intended lol....just more attractive to me that way.tobby4 said:

I would definitely take off the shrink wrap. That shrink wrap is usually on there to keep the cigars somewhat humidified until they get to you. Typically the cellophane is a breathable material.
Just got the new issue of CM (Cigar Magazine) and it had a one page discussion on whether to leave the cello on or off.
After their research, discussions with makers, and any other info, they stated that it makes no difference whether you leave it on or take it off. The cello is air permeable so it will not help or hinder the cigar or the aging process. The cello is put on just to protect the wrapper.
So really as stated previously........................Its up to you. Just passin' on some info. :smokingco
