I don't understand all the love I see these getting in some circles. To me it feels like a close cousin to the Diesel line from the CI days. Maybe if I tried one with some time in proper storage. This one went from an over humidified store to a three day ride in the travel humidor.

This one is a little too dry and is burning quickly. I am in the second third already. I would say it reminds me of the half way point between the Ave Maria line and the Hair of The Dog LE they rereleased a little while back. Only it tastes like the leaves have more age and smoke a bit smoother. I could see this being worth a fiver if you wanted to wait a couple or three months for it to come around.
I bought a box of these on sale. Your mini review is spot on. Very dry. Not much flavor. The cigar AJ did for Ramon Allones...now that is great.
