BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Last night I had a Gold Rush made with Four Roses Single Barrel. I won't say it converted me, but it was a very pleasant cocktail.
I tried the Four Roses straight and it was better than expected. I can see why my friend says it is in his top five.

Saturday got together with a few friends in Milwaukee and killed a Knob Creek 9 year SiB pick. You can understand why there were no pictures. 
Stayed on the KC SiB train last night and killed another pick.

One delivery and a purchase yesterday. Old Booker's shouldn't surprise anyone.
I had decided not to buy more 9 year Knob Creek picks and concentrating on the 14-15 years picks as they're going the way of the dinosaur. But after drinking the Sal's 9 year pick with friends on Saturday, went and grabbed 2 more. Best 9 year pick I've had, and better than some of the 15 year picks. No brainer at $49, I may grab a couple more to stockpile before they sell out.

Started with a sample pour from a friend of a 16 year light MGP that was finished in a Four Roses barrel. The finish was unreal. Clocked in at 139.2 proof, but the finish wasn't too hot at all.
Followed up with a Tumbling Dice store pick.

Yeah, they definitely haven’t been bad, just not close to the older ones...
I thought I would eventually find a 13 or 14 that blew my mind and planned to go multiple cases deep.
