  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Today's Bourbon

Stopped in Binny's for the Wednesday drop. Choice of 1 from Weller SR, EH Taylor Small Batch, 1792 Sweet Wheat and 1792 Aged Twelve Years. Just finished a Sweet Wheat recently, so chose the 12 Year. First pour was good, but nothing like some of their Full Proof picks I have had.

Just got a text from my brother showing me 2 bottles they just got in and asking if I wanted them. Double Eagle Very Rare for 3k and OFC for 2.5k. I was tempted to buy and try to flip then remembered I didn't have the money haha.

Picked up two bottles of the new Booker's Reserves 2024. It's a new annual release to honor Booker Noe, and this years is comprised of 8 to 14 year old Booker's barrels. I hope it's as good as the Little Book Infinite Blend.

Picked up a new Jack Daniels Barrel Proof single barrel pick. They're either good or great, never had a bad one. I celebrated with a pour of Jack Daniels 10 Year.

Another good acquisition day, a got a bottle of Stagg Jr. Batch 15 in a trade, and my girl at my local called to say she put aside another bottle of Booker's Reserve for me at retail.

Had to pick up some groceries and the supermarket had Jimmy Russell's Wild Turkey 70th Anniversary Release. 8 years and 100m proof. For $42 I figured it was worth a shot.

Old Booker's was last night's pour.

Sunday some Knob Creek 120 proof with a Monte

Last night I cracked the MM Heart Release before bed. Not my favorite of the wood finished series, hopefully it opens up a little bit with time.
