This one is really good. Maybe the best bottle I own even. Had some makers recently woodford double oaked really like that one a lot. Price recently went up 53$ at Sam’s club. Was 42$. Finished the old overholt. Won’t replace that one. Realize this is a bourbon thread and I’ve listed a rye and scotch but I feel like they belong here. I need to slide back up to Middletown and see if there’s any of this old forester left. Other than that nothing special on the drink menu lately

It's a good wheater but would like to try the Rickhouse proof version one day.

Booker's Pigskin batch. It's a football weekend, and also it helps kill the crud.

Upped it from 127 proof to 133 proof for extra crud power.

Found a bottle of my favorite Maker's Mark release. Less than $15 over MSRP for a 4 year old release.

I bought it after you had mentioned how well you liked it. I see the company has some other bottles. You tried any?

I haven't tried the others. I've heard both good and bad on the small batch and port finished. I'd like to get the full proof but it is a rather HTF bottle.
