Hadn’t heard of it but looked it up and now I’m really curious. How could you not being a colab between Metallica and Whistlepig. And the whole things about blasting music in the final steps really added a new twist. Unfortunately not carried near me.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty interesting too. It may be a gimmick but I want to give it a try anyway. After going to their concert last week I’m on a Metallica kick anyway. Thanks for checking it out.

60/40 blend. Supposed to use OWA but I prefer the green bottle. Let it sit a week before sampling tonight. Feel like I could have gone 70/30.

Interesting. I’ve only heard of the pour man’s pappy blend with OWA and Weller 12. I have some OG114 and OWA so I may have to do a mini blend and see how it is. 60 of the OG114 or OWA?

60 of the Weller. The blend improves the 114 but I probably won't do it again. Mostly because I really like the weller straight.

So I went and took advantage of the Russell's 10yr sale this weekend, I couldn't wait until my bday to sample it, yeah that shit is good I'll probably pick up another bottle this week.

Had my parents, sister and brother in law over Saturday to celebrate my Mom’s bday. Close out the night with a pretty solid bourbon tasting: WLW 2017, WLW 2018, GTS 2018, OWA, ORVW 2018, Yellowstone Limited 2018, Russell’s Reserve 2002. It was a good night.

Awesome! How much did you part with for that Blanton's? I was able to find my Barrel Select for $68 and a normal Single Barrel for $55.
