The manager at my local suggested that I get a bottle of this since I like Buffalo Trace so much. I had no idea what this is and had to look it up just to find out about the series. It's BT mash bill #1 at 95 proof so this should be an interesting pour once I get it open.

My guy at Binny's recommended I try Knob Creek's new Blender's Edition. 10 year old barrels blended to enhance the sweet notes (vanilla, caramel). So 10 year old, 106 proof, $39. It's good, I'll still take my 120+ proof single barrel picks though.

We were out for dinner last night and I had an Old Fashioned made with Eagle Rare. Delicious!

Came home and finished off with some 1792 FP.
