I received my pipe cleaning retort the other day and so yesterday I picked up a bottle of 151 (can't by grain in PA) and proceded to clean up a few pipes. One of the pipes I cleaned was a Hardcastle Camden 93.

So this morning I cracked open a tin of FMATP (3/05) and enjoyed a great bowl on my way in to work this morning. Excellent smoke. Rich, smooth and cool. I'll probably pick up a couple more tins of this soon.

Now with the cooler weather, anyone else smoking more pipes?

It is not so much the weather for me; more of a constant change in what my palate prefers. I find that I go through periods where I enjoy either cigars or pipes for a period of time, rarely smoking both during that period. I tend to stick with one or the other for about 1 - 2 weeks at a time, then I will want a switch. For me, this increases the enjoyment of both as each time I sort of renew my acquaintance with a different form of the leaf.
