  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

A. Fuente, Flor Fina 8-5-8 Maduro 6" x 47 Gran Reserva

Aroma unlit was wonderful. Smoked an hour and a quarter of it last night and still had some left. Very nice dark flavours from the maduro wrapper. No nicotine rush which was excellent for such a long smoke so this really was a well matured quality smoke. A fine looking cigar, thanks to Todd for this experience, a great smoke. :smokingme

Haven't seen Wasch this am, so I took the liberty to start this thread.
I had an 04 MC #2. This smoke reminded me of why they are my favorites overall. Beautiful construction, slightly tight draw but not unacceptable, and MAN the flavor and aroma!! Creamy, chocolate, smooth!!!!
I can't get enough of these when they are on like this! :blushlove

Nah, it's cool. My laptop died yesterday and i spent the day backing up the hard drive.

Then whe I got home our internet connection is fubar'd.

I had a '98 H. Uppman No. 2 last night. Pretty damn good but seemed "lighter" than the Monte #2.

I had a ss#2 on the deck...I let it sit in an El Dentes box for 1.5 days and the draw was still tight. Needless to say 2/3rd into it, it became so damn nasty i had to chunk it. I think the humidity got to it.

I had a Fonseca Delicias cliff gave me. Couldn't believe I was smoking a machine made cigar. The cuban tobacco really is something special.
One of my go to daily cigars is a Delicias... a great little spicy cigar that makes the day to day grind worth it...as well as looking forward to some really rich ones on the weekend.

Just received one of the Partagas Serie D No. 4 Reserva humidors...man they are a pretty thing.

Tried one this evening.. sitting in the backyard (better than the Monte A I had last weekend).

I was amazed at the smoothness of the cigar. It went right the way through it, had to take off both bands to finish it....One great cigar..
