It's a very nice, mellow smoke with good balance between an earthy core and light spice. Great construction. Not a flavor bomb, but I'm definitely going to grab more when I can find them.

Thoughts?

It was good. A good balance between spice and cocoa, coffee and fruits. The burn had to be correct but only once and it had a good amount of smoke. Strong flavor and a full body, would probably nap well but I just couldnt wait. Haha

Not usually a fan of Altadis Monti's for good reason. I did get suckered in by the sales guy when visiting a B&M for the first time in Queensbury however. Figured what the hell, he insisted its been selling like hot cakes since they started getting them in.



Well, if they have been selling like hot cakes then there are a lot of folks who don't know what a good cigar actually tastes like. Cause this aint it.



It burned well, but flavor depth and range were really lacking. Found myself pissed off that I was such a noob as to take his advice. Now I have to smoke a better stick just to make up for the waste of time. I don't mind smoking a cheap cigar if its sold as a cheap cigar. But when you sell a cheap cigar with the price of a quality stick well, that's just wrong.

Live and learn..
