  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Today I am smoking a tasty illusione 68 Dark Natural. This cigar was part of a Noob trade and seen some damage in transport. I am glad that the hole that went though the box ended here. Took an Inch off the cigar and seeing that I haven't needed Pectin for a while and tossed what little I had left. I was able to keep this little cigar together with the Cigar Band. So the damage couldn't have been in a better place really.

This cigar being small packs a little punch. Taste is very woodsy slight notes of leather with hints of Dark Cherry. The ash is a very nice grey and firm. Burn was little off but I think that may have been how it had to be cut. The wrapper was with slight veins and will point out that the burn issue was on the Thickest vein didn't really want to burn. I haven't smoked a 68 before so this was a nice treat and one that I will most definitely smoke again. Thank you @javajunkie for this wonderful Early AM Cigar.
