  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I enjoyed a BBF on the deck this afternoon while finishing up reading a book. I was reading The Broker by John Grisham another good mystery by him. The BBF was very nice it was from a Cab from early '04. It was a leasurily smoke since I was enjoying the book so I spent an hour 45 minn smoking it. I only had to touch it up twice. Once to relight since I got very into the book and waited a bit too long between puffs. I find it very relaxing to sit out on my deck on a nice day with a good book and cigar. A bit muted but still a very nice cigar.

I'll had one of them about over labor day weekend and found it to be quite tannic and young. I really think they need a good nap.

I had to take the wife's car in for it's regular check up and State emissions and safety inspections today so I had to wait until I was in the rental to smoke. It's only a 20 minute drive so I brought a Cohiba Club with me. This was the first Cohiba Club I have had and it was very good. It was right on par with the Monte and Partagas clubs I have had. Very good full sized cigar flavor packed into a cigarette sized smoke...pretty damn good actually!

Just finished my first Cohiba between periods of the hockey game. It was a '03 Cohiba Siglo I. What a great little cigar! This is a perfect sports cigar for between periods of a hockey game or halftime during football. I finished just as the second period started.

Nice construction, perfect draw and rich flavor for a small stick. This was one of my lottery smokes so I may have to get more of these soon.

Dang JC, between periods! With the exception of a club, I'm not sure there's a smoke short enough for me to finish in that time period!

Go Lightning!

Also, good to see my Flyer's are up at the end of the second.

I didn't smoke it as fast as I have to smoke my lunchtime smokes but it was quicker than I normally like. There was a minute or so gone in the second period too when I got back. Also I hope OLN goes HD since they now have hockey. It sucks watching it analog on an HD TV.

I bit my lip accidentally yesterday and thought nothing of it until I decided to smoke one of my Boli PCs last night. The cigar was deliciously in-your-face with flavor, but my lip got the best of me. I was only able to smoke it to 3/4" Kinda sucked.
