BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

If you think you don't have time to grill over charcoal, buy one of those chimneys. You get good coals in 10-15 mins.
Have one of those and love it. We use natural hardwood lump and have outstanding results.Love this time of year

Helluva travel day.
Trying to get to Denver but a blizzard changed that for me. I might get there tomorrow night. Wife is already there. I'm laying over in Houston instead. Checked into hotel and went to my room. The door wouldn't open all the way and I heard a hell, "hey, this is my room. I'm already here!"
So I'm burning one down the street at Serious Cigars. Great selection. Before I could snap a pic I ashed on myself. Gotta love it!

Earth, cream, cedar, red pepper, hints of coco, and drops of coffee. There is a sweetness that some say is cashew. At times it seems more floral or tea like.
The red pepper switches to black and nutmeg made a brief appearance as the first third transitioned to the second. The cream developed the barest hint of sweet vanilla.

Put a grate on top that chimney after coals are lit and sear a steak 2.5 mins each side = perfect sear medium rareLove this time of year
