It is pairing well with a Cab as you mentioned.

It is really good. Not necessarily landing exactly on my favorite spots on the flavor wheel, but I can definitely see why people would love it.

The aroma is great. The amount of black pepper is too much for me. I’ll let the other one sit till summer. I prefer the Whiskey Rebellion, more balanced and smooth. I would have thought a Ligero wrapper on the latter would have added spice, learning.

It’s been a few years since I smoked the blend but I remember liking all of the offerings. Could be ring gauge, age, who knows. I was surprised by it.
